Payment Options

  • Cash

  • Debit/Credit (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) 

  • Payment is due at time of service. 

  • ​I am an out-of-network provider. What does this mean? It means I do not maintain contracts with insurance carriers and do not submit claims for services on behalf of my clients.  You will be billed directly on the day of service.

  • Insurance Reimbursement is sometimes an option. I do provide a monthly "Superbill" for clients who wish to seek reimbursement for part of the cost of treatment from their insurance carrier. The Superbill contains information needed by your insurance carrier to process the claim and reimburse you directly, such as diagnosis code, service (CPT) codes, and provider license, TIN/EIN and NPI#.  If this is of interest to you, please check directly with your insurance provider to find out about reimbursement options.  Each insurance plan is unique and may change yearly.  Reimbursement rates vary widely depending on the insurance plan. 

  • I am not a Medicare provider, which means reimbursement from Medicare will not be available to you.

  • Typical billing service codes used for psychotherapy (CPT codes) include: 90791 (initial assessment), 90834 and 90837 (individual psychotherapy). If you submit claims for services, the rate of reimbursement from your insurance carrier, if any, will be tied to the CPT code. Each insurance carrier has a set rate for each CPT code. ​​

Fees:

Initial Assessment/Diagnosis/Planning Session: $250

Individual Psychotherapy Session, 55 minutes $175

Individual Psychotherapy, 90 minutes $250

Individual Psychotherapy, 2 hours $300

​

Couple or Family Session, 55 minutes $250

Couple or Family Session, 90 minutes $325

Couple or Family Session, 2 hours $375

​

Intensive Therapy:

Psychotherapy 90-minute or 2-hour sessions, two or more sessions per week for 2-6 weeks. This can be a good option if you have a specific amount of time available to do a deep dive into therapy, healing and personal growth. Please inquire about this option during the free consultation if this is of interest to you. Intensives will be billed in advance, in full, once the number and frequency of sessions has been agreed upon.

Crisis: 

 *If you are in crisis the FREE national 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is staffed 24/7 with trained counselors who can provide immediate support and connect you to local resources if needed. Call, Text, or Chat to 988.  This service is free and confidential.
